Rebooking & Cancellation Policy

We want your stay with us to be stress-free from booking to check-out — including on the rare occasion that weather or plans get in the way. This policy explains exactly what to expect.

1. Severe Weather & Other Emergency Circumstances

If severe weather or another genuine emergency affects your stay dates, you will not lose your booking or your money. This applies when any of the following is officially in effect, or true, for the Tanay area covering your check-in or stay dates:

● PAGASA Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 2 or higher

● A PAGASA red or orange rainfall warning

● An official advisory that the access road to Tanay is impassable (flooding or landslide)

● A significant earthquake affecting the area

● An extended power or water outage with no resolution expected before check-in

● A government-mandated lockdown, curfew, or travel ban covering your stay dates

What you receive

● A full rebooking credit, valid for 6 months from your original stay date — use it toward a new stay with us, no cost to you.

● Your security deposit is released in full — it is never charged when a stay is affected by these circumstances.

● The credit can be used for any available dates except December 20 – January 5 and Holy Week (the week of Palm Sunday through Easter Sunday), our highest-demand periods.

● If meal or grocery supplies had already been purchased specifically for your stay before your booking was affected, that itemized cost may be deducted from your credit — we'll always show you exactly what it covers.

We monitor conditions closely as your stay approaches and will reach out to you proactively — you won't need to chase us for an update.

2. If We Can't Provide What You Booked

If a core amenity — the pool, jacuzzi, hot water, or backup power — is out of service for a meaningful stretch of your stay, that's on us, not you. For a short disruption, we'll make it right with a goodwill gesture; for anything more significant, we'll issue a pro-rated credit for the nights affected.

3. Standard Cancellation Policy

For cancellations or reschedules outside the emergency circumstances above (including general weather concerns that don't meet the thresholds in Section 1), the following schedule applies:

Notice before check-in -- What you receive

30+ days -- Full refund of the amount paid

15–29 days -- 50% refund, plus the remaining 50% as a rebooking credit (6 months, subject to the same blackout dates as above)

7–14 days -- Full amount converted to a rebooking credit (6 months, subject to the same blackout dates)

Under 7 days / no-show -- Amount paid is forfeited

Your security deposit is always released in full, regardless of when you cancel — it covers damages, not cancellations, and is never charged if your stay doesn't happen.

If your group size shrinks but your dates stay the same, that's not a cancellation — we'll simply adjust the per-head charges.

Changing your dates

Need to move your stay rather than cancel it? We're happy to offer one free date change if requested at least 7 days before check-in, subject to availability.

4. If Circumstances Disrupt Your Stay While You're With Us

In the rare case that a storm, road closure, or similar emergency forces an early check-out during your stay, we'll issue a pro-rated credit for your unused nights — no penalty to either of us. Your safety comes first, always.

5. How to Reach Us

Please send cancellation, date-change, or rebooking requests in writing — through our website, by email, or via Instagram DM. We reply to every request the same day it's received.

We recommend all guests arrange their own travel insurance to cover circumstances outside BahayNiDrew's control, such as flight disruptions, visa issues, or lost luggage — this policy covers what we can offer directly.

Questions about your booking or your stay dates? Reach out to us any time — we're happy to walk you through your options.
